Who does BRPTC treat?

Blue Ridge Pain Treatment Centers is an interventional pain management practice in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We treat patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. Acute pain is a normal sensation triggered in the nervous system to alert you to possible injury and the need to take care of yourself, chronic pain is different. Chronic pain persists. Pain signals keep firing in the nervous system for weeks, months, even years.


What is pain management?

Interventional pain management involves special procedures to treat and manage pain. "Interventional" refers to substances or other materials that are injected or placed into the body. Procedures might include an injection of anesthetic medicine of steroid around nerves, tendons, joints, or muscles; spinal cord stimulation; insertion of a drug delivery system; or a procedure with radio-frequency ablation to stop a nerve from working for a long period of time.

BRPTC hours are:

Monday - Friday 8 am to 3:30 pm
